We convert both sides of the Pinnacle line to implied probabilities, remove the vig proportionally (two-sided normalization), and derive a fair probability. EV = (fair probability × your book's decimal odds − 1) × 100. A +2% EV pick means, on average, $1 wagered returns $1.02 before variance.

CLV at Pick Time — The difference between the odds you captured at your target book and the Pinnacle line at the same moment, expressed as a percentage. Positive means you got better odds than Pinnacle was offering when the pick was logged.

Closing Line Value (True CLV) — Captured at T-20 minutes before game time. We compare the no-vig probability implied by your placed odds (using Pinnacle both sides at placement) against the no-vig probability of the Pinnacle line at close. Positive true CLV means the closing market confirms the edge was real — the line moved in your favor. This is widely considered the best predictor of long-term profitability.
